Plastica Slidelock Reel System

Plastica Domestic Slidelock Telescopic Reel System has telescopic tube sections which slide and lock together.
The straps are connected to the tubes by our plastic slide and lock fixing.
This much improved system makes the reel system easier and simpler to install and gives a greater rigidity.
The Plastica Domestic Slidelock Telescopic Reel System is often rightly called the best domestic reel on the market.
It is manufactured by Plastica (in Hastings) in anodised aluminium tube, mirror polished stainless steel end stands, plastic bearings and steering wheels with stainless steel axle crank handles.
The reels can be supplied with a range of different end stands at no extra cost and has many optional extras including a castor pack (if a mobile reel is required), DlY Ieading edges and storage covers.
It can even be motorised ( ‘Power Pack’ option).
The standard reels come in two sizes:

Small – tube telescopes from 3.05m to 4.57m (10′ to 15′) pool size & 6 Straps
Large – extending from 4.88m to 6.4m (16′ to 21′) pool size & 8 Straps
Tube Diameter – Approx 99mm (3 7/8”)

The reel should be set up so as to have a maximum 0.3m (1′) overlap each side (minimum 6″).
Maximum recommended area of material on either size reel is 75sq.m. (800sq.ft.).
Some flexing of the tube may occur on larger covers, which may also require two operators.
